Hey everyone, I’m planning a big family camping trip this summer and need some help choosing a tent. We’re a family of five (two adults, three kids) and we’ll be camping in various locations throughout the US. I’m looking for something spacious, durable, and easy to set up. I once used a Coleman tent that was a total nightmare to assemble, so I’m hoping to avoid that this time.
I’ve been using the REI Co-op Kingdom 6+ for the past couple of years and I love it. It’s spacious, well-ventilated, and pretty easy to set up. Plus, it’s a great value for the price.
If you’re looking for something a bit more luxurious, the MSR Hubba Hubba NX 6 is a great option. It’s lightweight, has excellent ventilation, and is easy to pack up.
If you’re on a budget, the Ozark Trail 6-Person Family Tent is a decent option. It’s not the highest quality, but it’s affordable and gets the job done. Check it out…

Another Option is Coleman Weathermaster 6-Person Tent. It’s spacious, easy to set up, and has a good rain fly.
This is a Plus…I’s huge as well.
My recommendation: The Big Agnes Copper Spur HV UL6. It’s a great option for backpackers who need a lightweight, durable tent.
