Modular Clothing

Hi! My team and I from Politecnico di Torino (Italy) are working on a modular clothing collection designed for outdoor activities. The collection is adaptable to different weather conditions and versatile for various uses. We would greatly appreciate it if you could take a moment to answer a few simple questions to help us improve. Thank you so much! Survey Link

I tried to fill out your survey but encountered issues: 1) I wanted to select multiple options for some questions, like transportation methods, but couldn’t. 2) The term ‘modular’ isn’t clear. Are you referring to layering? 3) Some questions didn’t work on my iPhone 6. I couldn’t select any options. I’m willing to try again after these issues are addressed.

Thanks for your feedback. We’re looking into these issues. For now, multiple selections could complicate our data analysis, but we’ll consider allowing them for certain questions.

You should be able to conduct more nuanced data gathering than this. Consider discussing it with your team.

Isn’t modular clothing just another term for layering? We’ve been using layering for adaptability in outdoor gear for a long time.

Exactly, layering is the original modular system for managing insulation and adapting to different conditions. My wife and I use it to manage our different heat tolerances when hiking.

Clothing has always been inherently modular. I’m curious about what new aspects your project brings to the table.

The feedback from others sums up my thoughts. I’d need more information on how your concept differs from existing layering techniques to consider contributing.
