Is this for people who actually hike or for people who want to LARP as outdoorsy people? Personally, I find them unattractive and wouldn’t wear them. I don’t like the super pointed looking toe box, and the lacing situation looks like a disaster.
@Kendall
Yeah, the toebox is a disaster for hiking. But at least your feet won’t swell. Laugh

Yeah my main concerns would be durability and the toebox, but I like the design otherwise
@West
For fashion, where I’m completely clueless, they look nice, yeah.

Made me sneaker*
@Kendall
This feels like something an obscenely rich person who’s into hypebeast fashion buys 2 days before they go on their ‘thru-hiking’ ‘journey’ to ‘find themselves.’
@Kendall
Those are some ugly shoes
@Kendall
Considering that the poster also shared this in fashion and sneaker forums, I think these are meant to be fashionable and nobody here will find them useful.

Wow… really?
@Kendall
OP made a khaki sneaker and called it a hiking boot
@Kendall
Brutal toe box. My feet hurt looking at this picture.
@Kendall
Yeah, I’m with you on the toebox, looks painful later. The laces I’d snag and get tore up, and what’s with white soles on shoes intended to get muddy and wet?
@Kendall

I’m not as sure-footed as I used to be. I’d be worried about snagging, especially from the side lacing. Rolled ankles, slammed knees, torn up palms would be in my future with the lacing. The tall sole would be an ankle roller for me as well. Edit: We went hard on this guy. I feel bad I wasn’t more constructive. I would also like to add, Hey OP…what you’re doing is pretty cool. Hopefully between the harsh bluntness you’ll be able to pick out some good feedback and apply it for a successful product. Sorry, I didn’t mean to come off as a butthole. Best wishes. Keep us updated!
@Jordy
Also I would advise against white soles for what it’s worth. They’re gonna get dirty.
