The different brands will fit slightly differently like run wider than others. I’d try to go in-person to an REI store and talk to a sales rep to try stuff on.

Cool. thanks. Was waiting to hear anything about the panoramas or Lowa’s because they don’t have either in my size anywhere.
I’m currently on my third pair of the Danner Mountain 600’s. They last quite a while, and their new “leaf” version can be resoled. I also have the Arctic 600 insulated version. Comfort of sneakers with really good traction, and fully waterproof.
@Bennett
Yeah I’ve only been able to try the keen and the mountain leaf on. Leaf is nice and lightweight. Any clue on price to resole?

Don’t know for sure, probably $100-150ish but that’s just a guesstimate. Current pair is going on a year old and not close to needing one yet.
@Bennett
Awesome. Thanks. Definitely thinking 600s or Keens
I would not recommend the panoramas (1st pair) the foot bed takes a long time to mold to the foot. My feet tend to hurt at around hour 4 in them (less time when walking down trails). Your feet may fit them better so do go try them. I don’t recommend them though
@Blair
Thanks. Because I have only been able to try 2, I think I’ve narrowed down to the Keens and the Mountain 600. Both very different.
I have a 12 in like new condition for the cheap
