So, I’ve got this annoying lower back pain (thanks, scoliosis ). I love hiking but need a good daypack that won’t make it worse. Anyone else in the same boat? Any recs for something comfy?

Have you tried the Osprey packs? I also have minor back issues, and their suspension system really helps take the pressure off. I’d say go for that.

My suggestion… REI Flash.
Less weight = less strain on your back.
I’ve seen positive things about Osprey btw. I’ll check that out. I’m not too familiar with the REI Flash though. Is it durable enough for rugged trails?"
I think you should try a pack with a solid waist strap, something that transfers most of the weight to your hips instead of your back. The Gregory Maya could be a good pick.
This one is definitely a plus… Thanks dude. Thanks y’all
I actually recommend looking into custom-fitted packs if your back pain is serious. They can get pricey, but if you hike a lot, it’s worth the investment.
