Seeking Recommendations for Hiking Boots Under £100

I’m looking to buy some new hiking boots and have a budget of around £100. Does anyone have any recommendations for durable, comfortable boots within this price range?

My son recently got the Merrell Moab 3 and finds them very comfortable.

I agree, the Merrell Moab 3s are excellent. They’re generally available around £100 and are great for hiking.

@Clove
I used them on a snow hike recently and they performed really well. They’re a solid choice for an entry-level hiking shoe.

What are you currently using, and what do you like or dislike about them? That might help narrow down the best options for you.

Considering your budget, you’ll need to keep an eye out for sales. I’ve shared some resources here that might help you choose the right hiking footwear: Hiking Footwear Guide.

It really depends on the shape of your foot and the type of boot you need. Popular brands include Merrell, Lowa, Salomon, and Keen. It’s best to try several pairs in a store to see which fits best. They vary widely in terms of support and feel.
