Quick question—what exactly is a 'changing cover' for a beach hike?

Hey y’all, I’m going on a beach hike, and the list says to bring a towel and something called a ‘changing cover.’ I tried looking it up, but no luck. Anyone know what that is? Appreciate it.

Pretty sure they mean one of those big poncho-like towels you wear while you change. Keeps things decent when you gotta swap out wet clothes in public. Sum’ like this

It’s probably like a portable changing tent. I’ve seen some people use them at campsites. You just pop inside and change without flashing everyone.

Maybe they meant a ‘changing robe’ a towel with a hood that gives some privacy while changing.

Why overthink it? Just bring a towel, lol. I’ve done beach trips without all the fancy stuff.

Changing robe sounds super useful. Might have to get one.

Just wear your swim stuff under your clothes. Easiest solution. No need for a towel change at all.

Eh, I don’t know if I’d want to wear swim stuff the whole hike, though. It can get kinda uncomfortable after a while, especially if it’s a long trek.
