I don’t know what jacket this is but I’m here to say that my mother did this to me often throughout my life. I’m sorry for your loss of your jacket and it’s not lame to have emotional reactions to mothers being the literal worst.

Shes always been the literal worst this was after kicking me me out but keeping a whole room of things i hadnt touched since i was 14 i dont know why she chose the one thing in the house i cared about (i do know)

My mom is amazingly wonderful. But she equates getting ride of stuff as cleaning. And thinks having a garage sale is making money. Nothing is safe in the house! Mom “but you haven’t worn that jacket in months!” Me- “it summer!!”

Brands generally copy each other and change one or two things so it may not be the original brand. You can e-mail them and ask if it was one of their older models.

Google lens which yielded a ton of results, but nothing I found that was THE jacket.
looks like an older model. Can you remember what the writing on the wrist of the right sleeve said? does the photo you have saved on your phone have a higher resolution than the one on this post to the point where you can read it? It doesnt look like it says gore-tex or anything similar which is likely because a lot of brands have their own waterproofing system (tres-tex for trespass for example). if we could ID that it would be a big step towards figuring out what make it is. Can you remember anything else about it? - how many zip layers were on the front, it couldve been a 3in1 - (long shot) can you remember anything at all about what was written on the inside of the jacket, on the tag in the centre of the back
