Need Help Deciding on a Good Sleeping Pad? Any Recommendations?

Hey everyone, I’m trying to decide on a sleeping pad. I’ve been looking at a bunch of different options online, but I’m totally overwhelmed. I’ve heard positive things about Therm-a-Rest and REI, but I’m not sure which one would be best for me. I’m planning on doing some backpacking trips in the Rocky Mountains this summer, so I need something that’s comfortable and will keep me warm at night. Any recommendations?

I’ve been using a Therm-a-Rest NeoAir XLite for years now, and I absolutely love it. It’s super lightweight and packs down small, which is perfect for backpacking. Plus, it’s really comfortable and keeps me warm even in freezing temperatures.

Ozark Trail sleeping pad from Walmart has been working great for me. It’s not as fancy as some of the other options, but it’s affordable and does the job.

If you’re really serious about ultralight backpacking, you should check out the Exped DownMat UL. It’s the lightest sleeping pad on the market, and it’s incredibly comfortable.

I’m a side sleeper, so I need a sleeping pad that’s wide enough to keep me from rolling off. I’ve been using an REI Co-op Trailbreak, and it’s been perfect for me. Check it out here: https://www.rei.com/product/157769/rei-co-op-trailbreak-20-sleeping-bag-mens
