Hiking pants for guys with big thighs!

Anyone have any recommendations for a good pair of hiking pants that fit big thighs?

My personal solution is shorts with leggings or pants with a lot of stretch.

I use the 5.11 Taclite Pro Pant.

Seconding 5.11. I don’t have chunky thighs, but they are superb trousers. I wear mine for work, and they take an absolute beating without any damage so far.

I’m a thick dude like you, and they are super comfortable. They breathe well, too.

I have thunder thighs and really like the REI Activators.

Came here to say that. Incredible pants.

Can’t say for sure, but my friend swears by Stio having lots of give there. And he has a job that requires a lot of squatting.

Tagging along here. 34” waist but wear 38” pants. I’ve been looking for some quality hikers similar to a tough pair of TNF half-zip pants I have. I tried on some Fjallraven G1000s in a 38, and they had ZERO space in the thighs and no stretch. From how that fit felt, I’d probably need a damn 42” waist.

@Archer
I’m a 34x30. So far, Carhartt and Chubbies pants have been great.

Prana Zion (not Zion 2).

Arc’teryx Gamma LT.

Orvis Tech Pants. They’re, like, $12 at Costco.

It took me way too long to figure out the codeword for my body shape is “athletic fit.” It’s because I do squats, I swear, not the cheeseburgers.

Cyclist checking in here. 686 Roam & Everywhere pants in a wide fit are great.
