Hey folks, what are your go-to apps for checking real-time rainfall and weather trends (both current and future)? I’d love to know which ones you find most reliable. Bonus points if there’s a widget that shows forecast data over a period.
I’m really into Weather Underground. It’s pretty reliable as it gives detailed precipitation data and has a cool widget that shows upcoming weather patterns.
AccuWeather has a feature for tracking rainfall and their widgets are super handy for quick updates. Plus, their forecast accuracy is usually spot-on.

If you’re looking for something different i’d recommend the Weather Channel app. It has a pretty neat widget that displays rainfall amounts and weather trends. It’s also good for long-term forecasts.
RadarScope is also fantastic one if you’re into detailed radar data. It’s not as user-friendly for casual checks, but if you need precise information on rainfall, it’s worth checking out.
I’ve tried Dark Sky before and it was superb, but since Apple acquired it, they’ve been integrating it more into iOS. If you’re on Android, you might want to go with WeatherBug instead.
This has been my favorite for a while now.
