Affordable Oakley Sutro Alternatives

Hey y’all, I’m looking for some sunglasses that have a similar look to these Oakley Sutro, but without dropping like $150. I’m doing a lot of hiking lately, and I just can’t justify spending that much on something I might lose or sit on in the middle of a trail. Anyone know of any solid, cheaper brands that have that same style?

Yeah, check out Goodr. They’ve got that sporty vibe, and you can snag a pair for like $35. Honestly, I wouldn’t go all out with Oakleys if you’re just using them for hiking. Goodr does the job and if you lose them… no biggie.

I got a pair from Knockaround—super similar style for around $25. They might not be as durable, but for the price, you can buy a couple just in case one takes a fall off a cliff, lol.

Have you tried Blenders? They’re not that cheap, like $60-70, but they’ve got that bold, oversized look. Also, I find them to be sturdier than the super cheap pairs, so might be worth the extra cash.

Oh, I’ve heard of Goodr but wasn’t sure if they’d hold up. They really good for hiking?

Yep, I’ve had mine for two summers now, and they haven’t scratched or broken. Btw they’re polarized, so they’re great for hiking when the sun’s blasting.

I have like 3 pairs of Goodr and they’re perfect for active stuff. The thing is you just don’t expect them to last forever, but at that price, who cares?

Honestly, just grab whatever’s at Walmart. I got $10 pairs that lasted me multiple seasons, they might not look as slick as Sutros but sunglasses are sunglasses.

Lol, yeah, I’m def not trying to flex in the middle of a hike. Do they like slip down your face though?

Surprisingly no, but I’ve got a pretty average-sized head, lol. If they’re slipping, you could always add those little sticky pads to the nose piece.

I’ll throw in Tifosi as an option. Around $50-60, and they have interchangeable lenses, so if you’re switching between low-light and sunny hikes, you can swap them out.
